Boys' basketball: Centennial defeats Bullard, 69-63

Corona Centennial opened the second half with a 13-0 scoring run and never looked back, defeating Fresno Bullard 69-63 to advance to Saturday night's championship game of the Oaks Christian tournament.

Senior guard Sam Finley scored 28 points and junior guard Deontae North added 15 for the Huskies (14-1), who fell behind 10-0 and 14-4 early before pulling to within 36-34 at halftime. The Knights suffered their first loss since last year's state playoffs.
