December 20, 2012 |  9:24 pm

L.A. University came into Thursday's quarterfinals of the San Fernando Valley Invitational with an impressive 10-1 record, but Mission Hills Alemany left little doubt of its superiority with a 77-53 victory.

K.J. Moffett scored 22 points, repeatedly driving to the basket. Kevin Summers added 12 points and Brandon Boyd 10. Darnell Bettis scored 15 points for University. Alemany played much of the game without talented sophomore Bennie Boatwright, who had to go to the sideline in the first quarter after a collision left him dizzy.

Alemany (5-2) will face Oak Park (8-1) in a 5:30 p.m. semifinal on Friday at Crespi. Oak Park defeated St. Genevieve, 72-46, behind J.D. Slajchert's 22 points. Ron Lee Jr. had eight assists.

The other semifinal will match Crescenta Valley against Kennedy at 7 p.m. at Crespi. Crescenta Valley received 18 points from Cole Currie in a 64-60 win over Crespi. London Perrantes had 22 points for the Celts. Kennedy defeated Muir, 53-50. Isaiah Foster scored 16 points for the Golden Cougars (9-1).

In consolation games, North Hollywood defeated Panorama, 52-40. Verdugo Hills defeated Monroe, 60-44. Granada Hills defeated Northridge, 66-26. Grant defeated Quartz Hill, 65-57. Tullio Parry had 25 points. Sun Valley Poly defeated Knight, 60-33.  Notre Dame defeated Salesian, 79-60. Camarillo defeated Chatsworth, 69-36. Milken defeated Arleta, 63-52.
