Down by five points entering the fourth quarter, Chaminade turned to its veteran players, Jaron Martin and Jack Williams, and they rose up to lead a comeback that enbled the Eagles to pull out a 69-65 victory over Woodland Hills El Camino Real on Thursday night in a quarterfinal game of the Santa Monica tournament.

Martin scored 14 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter, including six free throws. Williams, who went scoreless in first half and didn’t have a basket until the outset of the fourth quarter, contributed a key three-pointer during the Eagles’ comeback. Griffin Cohen had another huge game for the Eagles (2-0), scoring 17 points, including a four-point play. Chaminade made eight three-pointers on the night.
