When it comes to water polo, there's no program more dominant than Santa Ana Mater Dei. The Monarchs won their fifth consecutive Southern Section water polo championship on Saturday, beating Long Beach Wilson, 13-6, in the Division 1 final in Irvine.

McQuin Baron, a 6-foot-8 goalie for Mater Dei, helped the Monarchs win their 79th consecutive game and finish the season unbeaten.

Szabolcs Magyari scored five goals to help Agoura defeat Santa Barbara, 7-4, in the Southern Section Division 2 water polo championship game.
