Girls' basketball: Palisades tournament set to begin

The girls' basketball season begins on Monday, and Palisades High will be the site for a competitive tournament.

Opening games on Monday: Jefferson vs. Santa Monica, 2:15 p.m.; St. Monica vs. Campbell Hall, 3:45 p.m.; Canyon Country Canyon vs. Palos Verdes, 5:15 p.m.; Sierra Canyon vs. Westchester, 6:45 p.m.

Tuesday's schedule: Taft vs. Palisades, 2:15 p.m.; Windward vs. La Salle, 3:45 p.m.; View Park vs. El Camino Real, 5:15 p.m.; Chaminade vs. Burbank, 6:45 p.m.
