Girls’ basketball: Cheyanne Wallace scores 30 points for Sierra Canyon

Cheyanne Wallace contributed 30 points to help Sierra Canyon begin play in the Palisades girls’ tournament with a 58-39 victory over Westchester.

Kaylie Vitallo had 24 points in Canyon Country Canyon’s 74-31 win over Palos Verdes.

Briana Harrs had 28 points in St. Monica’s 72-42 win over Campbell Hall.

Santa Monica defeated Jefferson, 58-51, with Mehak Delawalla scoring 19 points. Tiesha Roquemore had 23 points and Tiffany Gale 20 points for Jefferson.
