Football: Su'a Cravens is Gatorade state player of the year

Safety Su'a Cravens of Vista Murrieta has been named the Gatorade state player of the year in football.

The USC-bound Cravens has led Vista Murrieta to a 13-0 record entering Friday's Inland Division championship game against Corona Centennial.

He has 84 tackles, four sacks, three interceptions and two punt blocks. He also has caught eight touchdown passes and ran for five touchdowns.
