Bellflower St. John Bosco has not lost in 11 games on the field and continues its bid for a first Pac-5 Division championship by trying to knock off Sherman Oaks Notre Dame on Friday in a quarterfinal playoff game at St. John Bosco.

Loaded with quality athletes, strong offensive and defensive lines and a secondary that makes big plays, the Braves are considered one of the most talented teams left in the playoffs.

One of their keys to success in the playoffs will be the play of running back Darren Walker. If he’s doing well, it takes pressure off sophomore quarterback Josh Rosen.

Walker has rushed for 1,059 yards and 14 touchdowns.
