Football: St. Bonaventure gets No. 1 seed in Pac-5

November 4, 2012 | 11:03 am

Ventura St. Bonaventure (9-1) has been awarded the No. 1 seed for the Pac-5 Division. Mission Viejo (10-0) is No. 2, St. John Bosco (6-4) is No. 3 and Mater Dei (8-2) No. 4.

Some good opening matchups, such as El Toro-Santa Margarita, Oaks Christian-Sherman Oaks Notre Dame and Long Beach Poly-Bishop Amat.

In the Western Division, Lompoc was seeded No. 1, Chaminade No. 2, Camarillo No. 3 and Gardena Serra No. 4. That means Lompoc will have to get past Serra in the semifinals. Chaminade has a clear path to reach the final.
