Football: QB Mark Powell gives Verdugo Hills OT win
Verdugo Hills won its first league championship since 2006 with a 28-21 overtime victory over North Hollywood to win the East Valley League.
Quarterback Mark Powell threw a seven-yard touchdown pass to Daniel Soto in overtime.
