Football: QB Jonathan Santos had knee injury

There was a mystery about what happened to All-City quarterback Jonathan Santos of South East last week when the team was upset by San Fernando, 24-13, in the City Section Division II semifinals.

It turns out Santos suffered a knee injury the week before against Lincoln, and Coach Roger Satti didn't want to let the information get out. Santos was on crutches during the week and entered the game in the second quarter and late in the game but couldn't go at full strength, Satti said.

Santos should be fine, Satti said.
