November 9, 2012 |  8:02 pm

Oaks Christian's defense shut down Notre Dame running back Khalfani Muhammad in the first half, helping the Lions come away with a 7-0 halftime lead. Muhammad was held to 31 yards in 13 carries.

Both teams came up with big interceptions in the second quarter. Oaks Christian's Anthony Sandoval intercepted a Kelly Hilinski pass at the one-yard line to stop a Notre Dame drive. Notre Dame's Kyle Ause intercepted a Brandon Dawkins pass at the one to stop an Oaks Christian drive.
