If you’re an offensive lineman at Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, you have a very good reason to make sure quarterback Kelly Hilinski doesn’t get sacked.

After games in which there are no sacks, such as Friday night against Bishop Amat, Hilinski takes the linemen for a late-night snack to In-N-Out Burger.

And they don’t just eat a little. They get a Double-Double, animal fries, a shake, a drink and maybe something else. The bill was close to $100.

‘It’s a lot of money, and it’s all on my mom’s credit card,’ Hilinski said.

Glad to see tackle Kyle Sulka & Co. are getting well fed on Friday nights. But the Knights will face a severe challenge from Oaks Christian in a Pac-5 opener on Friday.
