Football: No practice for LAUSD City Section teams on Thanksgiving

Once again, football teams from the Los Angeles Unified School District who are still alive in the playoff semifinals cannot practice on Thanksgiving.
Southern Section teams look forward to practicing on Thanksgiving.
LAUSD has stuck with the rule that on holidays, practice is not permitted with few exceptions.
There’s also no school this week in LAUSD because of furlough days.
In good news, the City Division I and II championship games on Dec. 1 at East Los Angeles College will be televised live by Time Warner Cable. The Division II game is set for 3 p.m. and the Division I game will be 7 p.m.
