Football: L.A. Cathedral records 10 sacks in victory

November 18, 2012 |  7:18 pm

There's one impressive statistic from Friday's Southern Section football quarterfinals.

L.A. Cathedral came up with 10 sacks in its 28-25 Western Division victory over Camarillo.

Hassan Allison, a senior defensive end, had four sacks and forced three fumbles. Jahmarre DeSett had 12 tackles, including two sacks.

The Phantoms might want to save a few of those sacks for Friday night in a rematch against Chaminade. They were beaten by the Eagles, 62-26, on Nov. 2.

Hayden Rettig passed for 423 yards and four touchdowns against Camarillo.
