Football: Ex-Grace Brethren star Chad Kackert is MVP of Grey Cup

The best football player in the 100th Grey Cup is a Simi Valley native.

Chad Kackert, who attended Simi Valley Grace Brethren, was named MVP after leading the Toronto Argonauts to a 35-22 victory over Calgary.

Kackert rushed for 133 yards and caught eight passes for 62 yards.

He played at the University of New Hampshire.
