November 7, 2012 |  6:53 pm

Senior receiver Drew Wolitarsky of Canyon Country Canyon is four receptions away from passing former Taft receiver Steve Smith as the state's all-time leading receiver.

Wolitarsky has 268 career receptions going into a Nothern Division playoff game against San Luis Obispo on Friday. He's already the state leader in career receiving yards.

Canyon quarterback Cade Apsay, a junior has set a school record for touchdown passes with 35.
