Everything you want to know about football in Long Beach

Author Mike Guardabascio has written a book, "Football in Long Beach," that covers everything from high school to college.

That means there's stories detailing the history of Long Beach Poly and George Allen coaching at Long Beach State. It's available from Amazon.com.

It might be wise to read up, since the Jackrabbits are back in the Pac-5 Division semifinals and seeking their 19th Southern Section championship.
