There’s no longer any doubt that Palisades High has a sophomore sensation in Marissa Williams. She set a Pierce College course record last week in the Western League girls’ cross country finals, running 16:37.

She’ll be heavily favored to lead qualifiers at Thursday’s City Section prelims at Pierce.
