Cross country: Beverly Hills’ Sydney Segal is state Division III champion

Senior Sydney Segal of Beverly Hills became the first state cross country champion in school history after winning the Division III final on Saturday in Fresno. She won in 17 minutes, 40 seconds.

La Verne Bonita took the team title.

Saugus won the Division II girls’ title, its seventh consecutive state championship.

In Division IV girls, JSerra won the team title.
