Boys' basketball: Oaks Christian wins in overtime over Birmingham [Video]

Anson Moye, the younger brother of first-year Coach A.J. Moye, contributed two baskets in overtime to help Oaks Christian defeat Birmingham, 87-79, in a nonleague opener on Monday night at Birmingham. He finished with 21 points.

Iseah Rodgers, a senior guard for Birmingham, scored 30 points, including two free throws with five seconds left in regulation to send the game into overtime. Sophomore Serigne Athj added 17 points.

Sophomore Tyler Harris scored 18 points for Oaks Christian and Ryan Hiepler had four three-pointers for the Lions.

Birmingham picked up two technical fouls.
