Boys' basketball: Former L.A. Price guard Askia Booker is tournament MVP
Tiny Los Angeles Price has produced two of the hottest guards in college basketball.
Askia Booker of Colorado was named tournament MVP of the Charleston Classic in Charleston, S.C., on Sunday night after scoring 23 points in an 81-74 victory over Murray State.
Another former Price guard, Allen Crabbe of California, is averaging 26.7 points after three games.
Price also has Khalil Johnson and Richard Solomon playing for California and Skylar Spencer at San Diego State.
Chance Murray, a current Price guard, signed this past week with Arizona State.
