Boys' basketball: Fairfax is excited about freshman Antoine Monroe

There should be plenty of freshmen playing on varsity this basketball season, and one first-year player that's exciting Fairfax Coach Harvey Kitani is 6-foot-2 guard Antoine Monroe.

"He's a three-point shooter and pretty savvy for a freshman," Kitani said.

Monroe is expected to be in the playing rotation by the time Western League play begins.
