The Southern Section Council made up of league representatives voted 45-27 on Thursday to support a proposal from the Trinity League to remove all references to ‘athleticially motivated transfer’ and ‘transferring for athletic reasons’ from the CIF blue book.

The proposal will be an action item next week at the State Federated Council meeting, when all sections in the state vote on the proposal.
