Los Angeles View Park Prep has dominated the City Section small schools division. This season, View Park (4-2) has moved up to Division II, and the Knights plan to offer a severe test to unbeaten San Fernando (6-0) on Friday. The winner of the game could get a big boost come playoff seeding time.

San Fernando will have to slow down one of the best running backs in the City Section in Kendall Tillman. Cameron Griffin, a 6-foot-3 junior linebacker, is also highly regarded by View Park Coach Robert Ambers.

View Park put up a tough game against Southern Section small schools power San Luis Obispo Mission Prep before losing, 26-14.

The big question with San Fernando is the Tigers’ schedule. They haven’t faced the strongest opponents, and it will be up to junior quarterback Cristian Solano to raise his game as he has done each week. He has passed for 1,231 yards and 12 touchdowns with one interception for first-year Coach Robert Garcia.
