Football: The battle of future SEC quarterbacks

It’s not every day that two future SEC quarterbacks meet on the same field in Southern California.
That’s what happened on Saturday night in Studio City, where LSU-bound Hayden Rettig of L.A. Cathedral took on Vanderbilt-bound Chad Kanoff of Harvard-Westlake.
Rettig completed 30 of 59 passes for 446 yards. Kanoff completed 28 of 51 passes for 389 yards. Cathedral won, 37-27.
Both quarterbacks have a chance to be very successful in college. And they’re both good teenagers.
