Football: Sophomore Malik Roberson scores three TDs for Serra

Sophomore Malik Roberson rushed for two touchdowns and caught another toucheown as Gardena Serra (6-2, 2-1) defeated St. Francis, 42-6, on Thursday night in a Mission League game at St. Francis.

Serra led, 14-6, at halftime. Mark Verso, a Stanford-bound soccer player, kicked two 48-yard field goals for St. Francis.

Running clock was used in the fourth quarter. Inoke Raikadroka had a 55-yard interception return for a touchdown. Roberson caught a 29-yard touchdown pass from Jalen Greene. He also had TD runs of 23 and 12 yards.
