Football: Santa Margarita and Servite scoreless

Defenses dominated the first quarter in tonight's Trinity League opener between Santa Margarita and Servite at Saddleback College.

Santa Margarita quarterback Josh Canty had his second pass of the game intercepted, but the Eagles' defense held and forced a long field goal attempt, which was wide. 

Servite was forced to punt on two of its first three possessions.
