Football: More fallout at St. Paul

In the wake of the firing of St. Paul Coach Elijah Asante on Wednesday, standout junior running back Kurt Scoby is leaving the school. He rushed for 337 yards against Harvard-Westlake last week.

Bishop Amat and L.A. Cathedral are the top candidates to land Scoby, who would be eligible immediately if he moves.

Also, Asante is expected to become an assistant coach at Lakewood for the rest of this season.
