The team that keeps winning, Lompoc, won its 29th conecutive game on Friday, a 58-13 victory over Nipomo.

The Braves (9-0) led, 52-0, with six minutes left in the first half. They ran for 349 yards in the first half. Nikko Hayes carried the ball three times and scored touchdowns on runs of 73, 38 and 80 yards. Washington-bound running back Lavon Coleman returned from missing six games with a thigh injury to rush for 55 yards in four carries.

Lompoc closes out the regular season next week against rival Cabrillo. The Braves are expected to be the No. 1 seed for the Western Division playoffs, with Chaminade No. 2.
