Football: Ex-Canyon nose guard Chuck Osborne dies

Chuck Osborne, a standout defensive lineman at Canyon Country Canyon who played for Arizona during its "Desert Swarm" teams of the 1990s, died Tuesday at his home in La Jolla, according to the Arizona Daily Star. He was 38. No cause of death has been given.

He was good friends with Santa Margarita Coach Harry Welch, who coached him at Canyon.
