Football: El Rancho QB Joey Sanchez is having big season

Senior quarterback Joey Sanchez of Pico Rivera El Rancho continues to run and pass like few other quarterbacks in school history.

He needs 206 yards passing to set a school record after passing for 1,734 yards. He also has rushed for 1,141 yards. He set individual records with 387 yards passing against Whittier California and 318 yards rushing against Montebello.

El Rancho is 4-5.
