Football: Donovan Lee interception sparks Chaminade

Donovan Lee came up with a 50-yard interception return to set up a one-yard touchdown run by Terrell Newby and give Chaminade a 7-3 lead over Gardena Serra in the first quarter of a Mission League opener.

Notre Dame and Alemany are tied, 14-14, in the second quarter of a Serra League game. Crespi leads Loyola, 10-7.

Update: Malik Roberson ran 61 yards for a touchdown to give Serra a 10-7 lead with 2:54 left in the first quarter.
