Football: Desean Holmes puts Alemany on top, 28-14

October 12, 2012 |  8:13 pm

With 11 seconds left before halftime, Alemany quarterback Devon Dunn connected on a 25-yard touchdown pass to Desean Holmes, and the Warriors have taken a 28-14 halftime lead over Bishop Amat.

The Warriors scored on all four of their first-half possessions. Devon Dunn has completed 13 of 21 passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns.

Brandon Boyd of Alemany came up with a key defensive play, intercepting a Koa Haynes pass at the 15 and returning it to the 50 at the end of the second quarter to give Dunn a chance to add to Alemany's lead in a critical Serra League game.

At halftime, Crespi and Notre Dame are tied, 3-3.
