Football: Crespi upsets Alemany, 29-27

Encino Crespi stopped a two-point conversion attempt with 1:05 left and was able to hold on to defeat Alemany, 29-27, in a Serra League game.

Timmy Hayes scored three touchdowns and had an interception for Crespi

Crespi finishes its season at 8-2 and 2-2 in league. Alemany drops to 7-2 and 2-1. Bishop Amat defeated Loyola, 30-20.

Bishop Amat (7-1-1, 2-1) will face Notre Dame (6-3, 2-1) for a share of the league title next week. Crespi remains in contention for a Pac-5 at-large berth.
