Three key returning senior players for Newhall Hart’s baseball team won’t be able to play for the Indians this season after allegedly violating school rules, Coach Jim Ozella confirmed on Tuesday.

Gone from the team are outfielder Luke Persico, first baseman C.J. Witkowski and pitcher Zachary Hanks. Persico has committed to UCLA and Witkowski to UC Santa Barbara. Hanks was considered the Indians’ top returning pitcher.
