Girls' volleyball: Notre Dame sweeps Harvard-Westlake before vocal crowd
With lots of football players providing vocal fan support, Sherman Oaks Notre Dame opened Mission League play in girls' volleyball with a surprising sweep of preseason favorite Studio City Harvard-Westlake, 28-26, 25-22, 25-23.
Any team with sophomore Zana Muno on it has a good chance to win. Muno, who won three major beach volleyball tournaments over the summer, uses her all-around skills to help Notre Dame. She had 25 kills Thursday.
Muno's presence also helps attract a crowd, because her brother JJ, is a standout linebacker on the football team.
