Football: Trouble for the Marmonte League

September 23, 2012 |  2:38 pm

It was not a good week for teams in the Marmonte League.

Oaks Christian lost to Crenshaw. Westlake lost to Crespi. St. Bonaventure lost to Santa Margarita. Thousand Oaks lost to Nordhoff. Moorpark lost to Palos Verdes.

Of the 10 Marmonte League teams, only Simi Valley Royal is still unbeaten with a 4-0 record.

League play begins on Friday with lots of uncertainty. The league is broken down into Marmonte East and Marmonte West. The first two finishers in each division qualify for the Pac-5 Division playoffs.
