A group of South East football parents, unhappy with the dismissal of former Coach Derwin Henderson, are planning a protest rally on Friday at 4 p.m. at the school.

‘The parents want answers,’ according to an email said by a South East parent.

Henderson was fired on Sept. 4 and said he still hasn’t received anything in writing detailing what he did wrong. He believes he was let go because of a fight involving players in which he allegedly didn’t follow proper protocol in how to report the alleged hazing incident.

South East won 15 of 16 games on the field during Henderson’s tenure.
