Football: QB Robert Webber of Corona Centennial is earning respect

Junior quarterback Robert Webber of Corona Centennial came into this season as an unknown talent, but he is rapidly rising among the list of top Centennial quarterbacks.

On Friday, he passed for the second-most yards in Centennial history, completing 22 of 33 passes for 371 yards and two touchdowns in a victory over Carson.

As Centennial’s offense moves into high gear, it’s going to create lots of excitement in the Inland Division, where Vista Murrieta and Upland are also elite teams.
