Football: Narbonne makes statement with 56-0 win over Long Beach Poly

Earning respect for the City Section, Narbonne routed 18-time Southern Section champion Long Beach Poly, 56-0, on Friday night.

Troy Williams rushed for three touchdowns and passed for another. Johnell Jackson scored two touchdowns. Narbonne’s defense was dominant from start to finish.

‘Narbonne just kicked our butt,’ Poly Coach Raul Lara said.

Narbonne is 2-0 and Poly is 1-2.
