Football: Narbonne faces challenge of LAUSD

It might be the biggest football game of the season on Friday for unbeaten Harbor City Narbonne. Unbeaten Santa Ana Mater Dei is coming to Narbonne.

But as usual, the City Section team will be at a disadvantage. Tuesday is a staff development day in LAUSD. Teams are not allowed to practice after school.

So Narbonne will be allowed to practice about 38 minutes on Tuesday during period six.

Geez, do you think Mater Dei will decide to take a day off?

Just another day in the life of LAUSD.
