Encino Crespi has done what it needed to do _ win every nonleague game. Now the Celts can prepare for the Serra League and take aim at gaining a Pac-5 Division playoff berth.

They improved to 6-0 on Friday with a 43-17 victory over Westlake.

Quarterback Cody Cordell passed for 315 yards and running back Okalani Langi scored three touchdowns.

There are no guarantees once the Serra League begins. Alemany, Bishop Amat, Loyola and Notre Dame are all capable of beating the Celts.

But Crespi’s talented defense combined with an improving rushing attack means Crespi should be ready for the challenge ahead.
