Football: Chaminade ahead 28-13 at halftime

Isaiah Bernard pulled in a 37-yard touchdown pass from Brad Kaaya with 16 seconds left in the second quarter and Chaminade leads host Sherman Oaks Notre Dame 28-13 at halftime.

So far, the game has been a showcase for two of the area’s top running backs. Terrell Newby has three touchdown runs for Chaminade and Khalfani Muhammad has scored both touchdowns for the Knights.
