Football: A principal says no to ESPN and Under Armour

Santa Monica's principal, Laurel Fretz, has rejected a request from ESPN and Under Armour to hold a ceremony on campus to honor receiver Sebastian LaRue, who was selected to play in an Under Armour-sponsored all-star football game.

Lots of schools are asked to schedule rallies as a public relations move for the selection of players to these all-star games.

It's an interesting decision by Santa Monica's administration.

Here's the link to a story on the decision from the Santa Monica Daily Press.
