Football: 14 touchdowns in three games for Buena Park's Deven Boston

The first new star of the 2012 football season is junior running back Deven Boston of Buena Park. He has rushed for 824 yards and scored 14 touchdowns in three games for the unbeaten Coyotes.

He rushed for 173 yards against Cerritos, 241 yards against Schurr and 410 yards on Thursday night against Magnolia.

He's 6 feet 1, 208 pounds.

"He's like an Earl Campbell type, an old school running back," Coach Anthony White said.
