Boys' basketball: L.A. University will be competitive in Western League

Westchester, Fairfax and Palisades had better not take University lightly in the Western League this coming season.

University has depth and talent, as demonstrated by a 56-46 victory over Brentwood in the L.A. fall league.

University returns second-team All-City guard Breamon Richard, 6-foot-6 all-league forward Arvis Greene, 6-4 L.T. Bettis and picked up junior shooting guard CJ. Sinada, a transfer from Santa Monica.
