Boys’ basketball: Eric Cooper Jr. has changed to class of 2014

Standout point guard Eric Cooper Jr. of Long Beach St. Anthony, an Arizona commit, will head to Brewster Academy at the end of this coming season before going to Arizona, according to his father, Eric Sr., the basketball coach at St. Anthony.
Eric Sr. said the decision was made because his son has missed too many summer and regular-season games over the last two seasons because of injuries. He’s a senior this coming season but his classification for college recruiters will be class of 2014.
