It’s a big week ahead for prep football previews

From television to newspapers, this coming week is going to be filled with previews of the high school football season.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

On Monday, Time Warner Cable will broadcast a preview show from Santa Margarita that will feature interviews with quarterback Johnny Stanton, Coach Harry Welch and a rundown of the top 20 players in Southern California. It will air at 7:30 p.m. on Channel 101. Here’s link to sneak preview.

On Tuesday at 10:30 p.m. on LA36, the SoCal Prep Report will come from San Pedro High, where Coach Mike Walsh will talk about the season ahead.

On Wednesday, The Times will begin a nine-part series previewing Southern California’s top players, starting with linebackers and focusing on USC-bound Su’a Cravens of Vista Murrieta.

On Sunday, Aug. 19, KLCS broadcasts its one-hour Los Angeles City Section preview show at 2 p.m.
