Girls’ soccer: Three top Southland players are on U17 World Cup team

Three top players from Southernn California _ Amber Munerlyn of Corona Santiago, Maddie Bauer of Santa Ana Mater Dei and Arielle Ship of Westlake Village Westlake _ are on the U17 Women’s World Cup team that just came back from competition in Eastern Europe.

The team plays in the World Cup beginning Sept. 22 in Azerbaijan. A final training camp and roster will be decided later this month.
